Alliant Credit Union Brand Management

The Problem

Alliant Credit Union went through a brand refresh in 2015 and at the time relied on a 70 page pdf brand guide to launch and enforce the new styles. Being one of the only two designers in the organization I was heavily leaned on to support business partners with brand appropriate assets and guidance on how to use them. This was not sustainable, or practical for the growth of the business. I implemented a temporary solution by providing easily downloadable assets and guides using our in-house intranet page and although this empowered the organization to self-serve, it was still very limiting.

The Solution

Years later, while serving as the Sr. Brand Designer at Alliant, I led the implementation of Frontify, a cloud-based brand management platform. In June 2021 Frontify was launched with 5 guidelines (visual identity, content, social media, multimedia and photography), 5 libraries (Alliant logo, icons, brand approved photos, social media and motion graphics), as well as employee resources for internal brand consistency.
